I have been working on the Social Media Acronyms and Gaming pages so far. I've edited the Social Media Acronyms page a lot, mainly adding new terms to the "Technical Acronyms" section as I saw that it was lacking terms that could be useful, such as acronyms people use to refer to specific computer parts (CPU, GPU, PSU, etc.).

I have also planned to contribute to the Gaming page by talking about the game Runescape. So far I have only added pictures and the term, but eventually I will add a general description of the game and potentially talk about specifics in the game.

A type of new media that could be created is using virtual reality (VR) to do point-of-view (POV) tours of a certain area. If a person cannot afford to travel somewhere, or just wants to explore a new place for a short amount of time, they can "hire" someone from a company that does these tours to "take" the customer around somewhere like Times Square in New York, for example. The customer would give instructions on where to go, and using a chat that appears in the worker's VR headset, they can ask them to look up at buildings or other attractions. The customer would also have a VR headset, or they can just view the video through a type of live stream.

I would advise Baruch College to use sites such as Facebook or Twitter to post updates on the school. They could make posts such as letting students know if there are any events like the career fair going on, or if the school is going to be closed on a certain day. Another website that Baruch could use is YouTube to post informative videos for students. Video demonstrations could be made to show how CunyFirst works for enrolling into classes. There could also be video tours of the school posted so students who are new will know where Student Advisement is located.
